On the day of your treatment
- 45 minutes prior to your treatment take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory pill like Ibuprofen
- Bring arnica gel and/or arnica 6C pellets to be used after your treatment
After treatment
- To aid the healing process, avoid direct sunlight and apply high-SPF sunscreen to the treated areas. A gentle skincare routine and hydration are also recommended.
- Stay hydrated
- Massage your Face and neck massage in an upward motion twice a day.
- If possible, sleep on your back to reduce swelling and to help the skin heal in an appropriate anatomical position
- As with all invasive procedures, swelling will occur after ENDOLIFT® treatments due to tissue irritation. We therefore recommend medical lymphatic drainage in the first 1-3 days after the procedure, as this reduces swelling and possible pain and positively supports the healing process.
Potential Side Effects
- Minimal edema may rarely occur after the treatment.
- There will be slight swelling in the treated area.
- Some patients may experience warmness for up to a few hours after treatment, as deep tissue retains heat longer.
- Some patients may feel tenderness or numbness in the treated area that is temporary and will resolve with time.
- Rarely the motor nerve may be temporarily affected in a lower face treatment and you may need to use oral anti-inflammatory tablets.
- As with any heating device, there’s a rare risk of skin burns or discoloration.
- It is rare, but possible to have contour irregularities, requiring further treatment.
- Temporary bruising or numbness may occur, but are generally mild and quick to resolve.
· The post-treatment phase is an integral part of your ENDOLIFT® journey.
· Proper care and realistic expectations of the recovery process are essential for achieving the best results.
